I AM TOTALLY CRAVING NEW YORK!! NOT JUST THE PIZZA AND CANOLI BUT THE ACTUAL STINK OF THE CITY!! I WANT TO BE THERE SOO EFFEN BAD!!! THERES JUST SOMETHING SO HONEST AND MESMERIZING AND JUST SO REAL ABOUT IT! I LOVE THE CRAZY CAB DRIVERS AND BARS THAT NEVER CLOSE. AND OFCOURSE THE SHOPPING!! ANYONE WHO KNOWS ME- KNOWS THAT!!

IF I CLOSE MY EYES I CAN STILL TASTE THE CREAMY, BUTTERY TASTE OF THE FETTUCINE ALFREDO FROM LA MELA-- MY FAVORITE SPOT IN LITTLE ITALY! I MISS THE CRAZY BANTER OF PEOPLE IN TIMES SQUARE, THE SNOBS OF PARK AVENUE- EVEN THE DOGS ARE RICH-AND THE CHATTER OF RANDOM PEOPLE SPITTING OUT DESIGNER NAMES..PSSSTT PSST LOUIS VUITTON, CHANEL, DIOR!! OH MY LONG LOST LOVE!! I FEEL AS IF NYC IS A BOY THAT I HAVE AN ENORMOUS CRUSH ON..ONE THAT I ADMIRE FROM AFAR! MORE LIKE AN OBSESSION THAN CRUSH!!

OK I JUST NEEDED TO VENT THAT!! IM GOING TO VICARIOUSLY BE THERE THROUGH CARRIE AND COMPANY!!!

So.. YES... New Year brings on New Goals! Ive accumulated my list of things I most likely will only accomplish a few of- but hey "you gotta have a goal.right..do you have a goal?" (pretty woman- thanks Kit) So here it goes...
*BE MORE POSITIVE
*SAVE MORE MONEY
*GET GIGI POTTY TRAINED AND THE GATES THAT ENCLOSE MY KITCHEN-GONE!
*SET UP A CLEANING SCHEDULE..AND STICK TO IT
*WEAR SUNSCREEN- ATLEAST ON MY FACE
*TAKE A "MOM" TRIP
*FIND A CREATIVE OUTLET/ NEW HOBBY
*SLOW DOWN STARBUCKS
*GET HEALTH INSURANCE
*TONE UP--STAY TONED
*FIND A NEW JOB THAT MAKES ME HAPPY =) AND HOPEFULLY MONEY
*LOVE ME MORE

I'm on a mission to behave and live better. Im already on my way, and I'm determined to still be skinnier once bathing suit season is on--not have this gigantic BEER GUT!

We have chosen to throw a PRE ST PATTYS party for him on Friday. He is Mr. Irish~so I am attempting to make corned beef cabbage and potatoes just for him!!Everyones wearing green..and Im going to try to replicate a "savannah style" St. Pattys. So it should be an ADVENTURE!! Hopefully I will be alive come saturday!! hah!
Ive also pulled together a bunch of pictures of us and all our crew and started making a photoalbum..and i was thinking of having everyone write a note to him filled with funny jokes and favorite things about him and slipping them into the photo slots. We also had an idea of video messaging and filming our crazy night and making him a dvd--but then will he have computer access to be able to watch it?
Care Packages? Like candy? Magazines? What else?

Im may be FREAKING a little

So i have this friend.. a new friend. He is so very sweet and polite and just a joy to be around. He gets my jokes...he calls me Bonqueshia....he knows what "poont" means...and he kicks my ass on Mortal Kombat! And on Sunday he is being shipped off to the desert! This is his second time there. The first tour wasnt so much fun for him. He was actually in Maxim-a picture that one would only hope was fictional.
My dad was in the Navy- but I never really understood the magnitude of war- until now the thought of possibly never seeing someone again. Especially someone who I have yet to get to know. It sucks!
So Im freakin a little. And he doesnt want to go. Which is worse bc the countdown is on. Poor thing!
